Welcome to 123Wee!

We are officially open for business (the business of providing local information that is) as of May 2012.

Of course there will be some bugs to work out as we get going, but we will do our best to make this a great place to learn about the local youth and programs designed to help them grow and keep them excited about life. Whether it is through sports programs, outdoor events, or just organizations that simply promote general creativity, we want to share it all with you.

Additionally, we are looking for contributors to this new site (e.g, articles, videos, pictures, stories, etc). Unfortunately, for now, it is all free so there will be no reward other than knowing you are helping the community become better connected. Hopefully, that is all the inspiration you need. Since we do not make any money either, we are looking for community support to kick things off and we will do our best to keep up.

We will be working hard to dedicate this site to all things about the local youth in our area, as well as the organizations that support them. Showcasing their talents and highlighting local events in and around Auburn, Grass Valley, and Nevada City. We welcome your submissions. Any contributions to this blog will be reviewed for relevancy and posted under the proper category for all to see.

The Event calendar is a big part of what this site is all about as well, so please let us know of any upcoming events that you would like to highlight and make sure to share with your friend using the social links found within the site.
